About SAMA SOUND Inc.
Formed as a trading company established in 1969 headquartered in Seoul, had been a sole distributor of Shure since then. To support its sustainable growth, the company restructured as SAMA Trading and Sama ProSound in 2002 to professionally concentrate on two different market segments, MI and Pro audio. In 2017, the company has been restructured for the purpose of transforming the structure of corporate ownership; Sama Sound Inc. , Sama Coop and Sama D&I. Sama Coop is mainly to allow the employees to collectively own Sama Sound Inc., and Sama D&I Co., Ltd.
In 2019, Sama Sound Inc., Sama D&I Co., LTD and Sama CDS has been acquired by Hibino Corporation after M&A contract to have more opportunities and expand its market share in the country with investment from Hibino Corporation.
Today, SAMA SOUND Inc. owns the largest dealer network in the audio industry in Korea and currently carrying Shure, Allen & Heath, HK Audio, TC Electronic, K&M, Genelec, Media Matrix, Martin Audio, Neutrik, LEA, and video projector named BARCO.
