Recent increase in the necessity of working from home due to Covid-19, products that can remotely control a workstation from anywhere in an environment that supports a stable Internet speed of 150 Mbps or higher is released in Korea. TLC Solution has completed a sales contract with Amulet Hotkey in the UK, and released a stand alone external host card, DXT-H4, PCIe host card, DXH4, and zero client DXZ4, DXZC product that can connect to a workstation from a remote location.
DXT-H4 is a KVM-over-IP technology-based KVM Extender that uses the PCoIP protocol. DXT-H4 is designed for PCs, notebooks, and workstations that cannot install a PCIe card or remote access software. This device, which does not require a driver or software on the host workstation, provides remote access to all PCs and workstations (Windows, Linux, Mac) through digital video output, USB keyboard/mouse/tablet input, and stereo audio output/microphone input.
DXH4 is a workstation built-in card that can be used by binding to a PCIe x1 slot, and it has the same Teradici TERA2240 PCoIP processor as the external product DXT-H4. In particular, the DXH4 host card boasts a more stable and high performance compared to the previously released Tera2240 host card, newly produced with the unique design of Amulet Hotkey.
DXT-H4, DXH4, and DXZ4 support 4 monitors with a maximum resolution of 1920X1200@60Hz or 2 monitors with a resolution of 3840X2160@30Hz. Since the actual operation through the zero client DXZ4 from a remote location is performed on the host workstation, there is no concern about the leakage of important data that requires security stored in the workstation. This is because the data transmitted from the host equipment DXT-H4 and DXH4 is not the actual data stored in the workstation, but the pixel data transmitted to the monitor.
DXZC is a sub-model of DXZ4 and supports 2 monitors with a resolution of 1920X1200@60Hz or 1 monitor with a resolution of 3840X2160@30Hz.
